The Secret of Knowledge

How to Pass a Degree with Confidence
A study guide for a university or college degree.

Anthony Fox MSc BSc Hons

The secret of knowledge is easy to answer. The answer is wisdom. Have you ever read Lao Tzu's “Tao Te` Ching” which means  “The Book of the Way and Its Virtue”  or  Sun Tzu's “The Art of War” perhaps you should? The wisdom of King Solomon is another, or the philosophy of Confucius. These famous philosophers and many more can teach each student the knowledge of wisdom.

With the knowledge of wisdom, you will be able to enlighten your mind, and, therefore have an enhanced understanding of your environment. Hence, your success and progress through life will be with nature and not against it.

Consider the following:

The Pilgrim's Tale: The Meaning of Life

Have you heard the story about the pilgrim who went to visit the Dalai Lama? The pilgrim wanted to ask the Dalai Lama what was the meaning of life? The pilgrim waited five years before seeing the Dalai Lama.

The Dalai Lama answered the pilgrim’s question by asking the pilgrim why you want to know the meaning of life.  The pilgrim replied, “Because I want to know my purpose in life?”

The Dalai Lama said, “Man thinks, he is above the animal, and that he has purpose, because that is the way he is taught from birth to think, but forgets he is an animal.”

To be or not to be

It’s never too late

Sat there like a Cheshire cat

There’s a bit more meat on the bone

More stress than a chaining smoking nurse

The golden rule

How I got my T-Shirt

A girl came knocking on my window

A PRETTY GERMAN BLUE-EYED BLOND CAME KNOCKING AT MY WINDOW

How to Pass a Degree with Confidence
A study guide for a university or college degree.

Anthony Fox MSc BSc Hons

I wish to congratulate the German football team on a fantastic performance against Brazil last night. I know it’s easy to say after the event, but the Brazilian football team never looked like a quality team from the outset of the World Cup, in my opinion.

The Village, New York

This reminds me of the time a blue-eyed blonde – a German girl – came knocking at my window for help. Read the story in my book – a girl came knocking at my window.
