The Cost of Frying Burgers at McDonald’s is it the Student Debt Bubble?

How to Pass a Degree with Confidence
A study guide for a university or college degree.

Anthony Fox MSc BSc Hons

All across America college students are paying a high price to get a higher education at the expense of a burgeoning debt mountain only to find when they have a degree there are only low-paid jobs like frying burgers at McDonald’s. The same problem exists here in England with students burdened with huge debts
ly to find low-paid jobs or a career frying burgers after gaining their degrees.

The truth is the same applies all over the developed world where a degree can only guarantee many students huge debts and the prospect of low-paid jobs. So, what is the answer to this problem? Well, I believe higher education should be free and paid for by government taxes on everyone and every company. This way the whole country benefits by having a fairer society and access to higher education for all.

The capitalist system is flawed whereby banks are too big to fail and governments end up spending trillions when they fail. Yet, governments allow this monopoly of money to exist because our politicians are easily corrupted by the easy money of the financial system. Governments allow big businesses to get away without paying their fair share of taxes, yet the working class shares the greatest burden of taxes. Companies devise part-time jobs and zero-hour contracts only to avoid paying their dues to the employees and the government. Corruption is everywhere mostly with our governments and our politicians who spend more time with their snouts in the trough.

I devote a chapter in my book to why students fail with explanations and examples so that you don’t fail?

Plus: the number one topic you should understand, it could mean the difference between passing and failing?

Here is a list of stories included in “How to Pass a Degree with Confidence.” They are not in any order, purely random.

To be or not to be

It’s never too late

We don't all wear the same shoes

We have all the time in the world

Sat there like a Cheshire cat

There’s a bit more meat on the bone

More stress than a chaining smoking nurse

The golden rule

How I got my T-Shirt

A girl came knocking on my window

Realize your potential it’s within you to succeed. Your success is not proportional to the effort you put in, that part is purely random.

I can win the lottery in a second, but spend a lifetime finding a cure for cancer. Which is more rewarding?

Be Sure It’s What You Want….But Who Gives a “*uck”, Right

How to Pass a Degree with Confidence
A study guide for a university or college degree.

Anthony Fox MSc BSc Hons

Sorry for the delay, but it needs to be said. The cost and sometimes the heartache are part and parcel of a college degree, so be sure it’s what you want. Ask yourself this question: is this degree for me and not what other people expect you to do? They say these days you need a degree just to get a job at McDonald’s on minimum wage. Well, it might be the only job available to many graduates because our economy is in a mess, and more and more students are taking on huge debts just to get a college degree at any cost.
